Davenport, IA (RestaurantNews.com) Jonathan Buckley has been promoted to Managing Partner of the Hooters Davenport location. He started his career at the restaurant 22 years ago in the kitchen as a cook. He rose through the ranks with on-the-job training and worked his way up as a system manager, then to general manager and will now serve as managing partner.
“It is with great pleasure that we announce Jonathan’s promotion as a managing partner. He worked his way up through dedication, hard work and a deep understanding of all aspects of the restaurant. With his expanded role he will continue to lead the team in Davenport and continue to make a positive impact,” said Phill Moran, President of Davenport Hooters.
“Being named managing partner means hard work pays off. I enjoy coming to work and the dedication of our staff. I want our customers to come into the restaurant, have a relaxing time and feel welcome. I appreciate everyone I have worked with that has helped develop and train me during my career,” said Jonathan Buckley, Managing Partner of Hooters Davenport. “I am always thinking of how to make things better and enjoy planning the details” added the Quad Cities native.
Jonathan enjoys giving back to his community. The restaurant is involved in numerous events and fundraisers at the store and around town including the Mississippi Valley Fair and Quad City Storm ice hockey games. Some of the upcoming events at the restaurant include a fundraiser for the Kings Harvest Dog Shelter scheduled for the third Thursday of the month in July and August. Plus, upcoming car events, bike nights, a trunk or treat Halloween event, live bands on the patio and more.
